Up until now, patients searching for a life-saving kidney or liver were left to their own devices in terms of finding an organ donor. That’s not easy for someone to do. So we decided to build a tool to help them easily tell their story, and connect with potential donors in a way that makes people feel.  So far the campaign was directly related to savig at least three lives, including that of a 9 month old baby in need of a new liver.

 

With a talented team at Alto, we created what we came to call a  “Digital Storyteller.” Patients answer a few questions about their life and the life they want to live. They upload some photos and videos of the people they want to live for. And within seconds receive an emotional, premium, cinematic film about their life. One that also draws from a curated pool of online images, maps and clips based on keywords in their answers. Each film is scored with one of five unique pieces created by Dustin O’Halloran, each one inspired by a different color. If your favorite color is red, that variation of the track accompanies the story of your life.
